It’s All In The The Mind!
Of all the well known quotes that spring to mind, like Napopleon Hill’s “What the mind of man can conceive and beleive, man can achieve”, my favourite is by the great Henry Ford:-
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, either way you are probably right”
But enough of quotes and enough of this subject for now, there will be plenty more on this subject in other pages.
Suffice to conclude with what I firmly believe and that is that it all stems from the mind.
Money Matters
“I’ve been rich, and I’ve been poor, and I can tell you that rich is better”.
Not sure if that is the correct quote but for me at least money (i.e. in having it) does matter.
Not everyone thinks like that, though, and they are the poorer for it.
Again, it comes back to the mind. If you think that ‘money won’t make you happy’ or that ‘money doesn’t matter as long as you are happy’ then you probably don’t have very much of it and probably won’t gain much of it.
My mentor, multimillionaire Stuart Goldsmith, had a clear view about having money. He says that “Money is an enabling force”. Having it enables you to do what you want. Not having it constrains you considerably in what you can do with your life.
Pretty obvious, but some people do lose trak of why they want to make a ton of money. I think Stuart was one of them. That’s why he sold his busines and took five years off to write a course about… ‘How To Be Happy’.
